Women's body satisfaction at midlife and lifetime body size: a prospective study
Article Abstract:
An investigation into the effects of the past body size in comparison with present body size of middle aged women has shown negative effects on the self-esteem, leading to a rapid increase in body weight. These are factors, which are very important to note while studying post menopausal effects in women.

Hypnotic enhancement of cognitive-behavioral interventions for pain: an analogue treatment study
Article Abstract:
Meta-analysis has shown that an addition of hypnosis enhances the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy. Under several circumstances to detect an enhancement effect, neither stress inoculation training nor analgesic suggestions produced any relief in a hypnotic context.

Knowledge and perceived risk of major diseases in middle-aged and older women
Article Abstract:
The authors examined how middle-aged and older women's knowledge of their mortality affected their attitudes toward major diseases. Greater and more accurate knowledge of the younger women on various issues is presented.
