British businesses are likely to change their property requirements as they focus on their core business and outsource other operations. Some large firms have found back office operations, such as customer billing and managing the payroll, can be very expensive. It is anticipated new businesses will look for serviced office space where they can outsource their back office operations from the start. Corporate Outsourcing Expert David Andrews points out outsourcing back office operations may be difficult to manage, as each firm has its own methods of working.
