Greater rate of change ahead

Article Abstract:

The distribution market is predicted to grow at an average of 2.4% until 2000, slightly lower than the rest of the economy, but this is not seen as detrimental. Developments have included switching from higher population centres, a 20% increase in goods within a 5 mile radius of airports and an trend towards using northerly ports rather than those in the south. Most development has taken place within the Midlands Triangle where a third of distribution parks and three-quarters of warehousing is situated.
