End of an era for battle over lender compensation to mortgage brokers?

Article Abstract:

The litigations and policy guidelines of HUD on the issue of wholesale lenders compensation to mortgage brokers are discussed. Recent case settlement of Byars v. SCME Mortgage Bankers, Inc. by the California Court of Appeal and other similar rulings is seen as an indication of possible end of lawsuits against lenders.
