Hyundai Company stated that it wants to be one of the five largest automakers in the world by 2010. Hyundai and Montgomery have gone through a lot together since the company announced its coming to Alabama on April 2, 2002 and the project is one of the largest construction sites in Alabama history and the first auto plant south of interstate 20.
