Washington State: strategic location for global business

Article Abstract:

Washington State is a viable industrial relocation option for high technology corporations wanting to exploit opportunities presented by the North American Free Trade Agreement. Washington State's proximity to Canada, as well as its highly skilled workforce and high standards of living are prime advantages of the state in relocations. The attraction of the state for corporate locations is enhanced by the competition between local governments in attracting business, which improves the benefits offered to prospective relocators.
