Real estate outlook for 1999

Article Abstract:

The commercial real estate industry has rebounded from a devastating depression in the early 1990s. However, commercial real estate space markets were quite robust and healthy throughout 1998 in comparison to the real estate capital markets. The US commercial real estate industry is, however, experiencing the slowdown in economic growth overseas although it is expected to experience another lucrative year in 1999. The business is well positioned for an impending economic slowdown anticipated later in 1999 or sometime in 2000 or 2001.
