Article Abstract:

The East coast centres of Scotland are experiencing continuing growth in the retail market and increasing demand for industrial and office space. There is a scarcity of both retail outlets and industrial development land. In Perth a new leisure complex is planned for an eight acre site. Stirling has a new shopping centre under development, with 83% of the units already prelet. Dundee's industrial areas are being developed and the demand for retail space necessitates the construction of a retail centre. Two retail centres are being developed in Aberdeen and office space is in demand.
