Southern comfort

Article Abstract:

Swindon, England, and Reading, England, are among the most cost-effective distribution locations in the UK, according to a report by transport research specialist MDS Transmodal. This finding goes against the widely-held view that the Midlands is the country's best distribution area. Mixed views have been expressed about whether the South East of the UK really will begin to attract more distribution occupiers. Some observers point out that the Midlands is likely to remain a significant distribution location, partly because of the growing use of rail transport.
