Synchronicity and indexing theory of international real estate cycles

Article Abstract:

A World Property Risk/Opportunity Index is proposed to unify market direction and risk variables for individual countries' real estate industries. Such a model will include information on risk, stock market variation, market size, government bond rates and a synchronicity index that would establish regional and country rankings. Data for such an index can be collected by various international real estate associations.

An approach to net lease real estate investment

Article Abstract:

Institutional investors are turning increasingly to net leased real property as another investment market. Such an investment is different from traditional real estate assets because the owner has no risk of incurring unexpected expenditures related to lease rollovers, maintenance and taxation. Net lease investments are ideal for long-term investors seeking to diversify their real estate and credit portfolio.
