Brownfield site redevelopment is being hampered by contamination liabilities. As in the town of Cowpens, South Carolina, local communities may be left with the clean-up costs when factory owners file for bankruptcy. Federal law reforms are much needed.

Recharged FHA a big plus for multifamily

Issues concerning FHA multifamily mortgage loan limits are discussed. HUD has announced a 25% increase in limits which will encourage developers to build apartments for moderate income households in high cost areas.
