From international linkages to internal divisions in China: The political response to climate change negotiations
Article Abstract:
China's position on the problem of climate change is dualistic as both cooperator and defector and the reasons for this change in the context of international linkages and domestic constraints and the way China's interest and policy priorities are constructed are explored. By focusing on China's policy responses, an analysis reveals the political dynamics and implications behind the negotiations.
