Missionary education, religion and knowledge in India, c. 1880-1915
Article Abstract:
An analysis of education and knowledge interaction through Christian missionary schools is presented by means of a survey termed the "educational enterprise" run by Anglican missions in north India, c. 1880-1915. The network of schools, their objectives, orientation and the degrees to which they were dependent upon Indian agency are studied.

Article Abstract:
A narration of events and panics in India in 1907 during the fiftieth anniversary of 1857 is discussed. The fetishised telegraph technology and the imagined state had been entangled in crisis and information panic at start of the twentieth century.
