Revival house
Article Abstract:
Susan Maxman, first female president of the national American Institute of Architects, seriously considers environmental issues when designing a house. She strongly supports the sustainable design movement which advocates the reuse of construction materials in renovating or building houses. Her own house is a study of that principle.

Water works
Article Abstract:
The homes of Howard Brosius, Libby Kegler and Barry Hockfield are all equipped with indoor pools and spas. Brosius' pool is located in their greenhouse while Kegler's pool was built inside a glass and mahogany pavilion. Hockfield's pool house is made of noncorrodible materials.
