Sibling incest and cultural voyeurism in Gunderode's Udohla and Thomas Mann's Walsungenblut
Article Abstract:
The depiction of sibling incest and orientalism in literature began in the mid-eighteenth century. Karoline von Gunderode's Udohla and Thomas Mann's Walsungenblut are analyzed to prove the beginning of such depictions in the mid-eighteenth century.
