Directive 2005/29/EC on Unfair Commercial Practices, which represents one of the most extensive and most debated European legislative projects, is reviewed. The Directive offers a great opportunity to combat the fragmentation, which had arisen in the regulation of commercial practices in consumer law, competition law, antitrust law and promotion law.

Implementation of consumer law in Poland
