Article Abstract:
Political reform instituted by a royal edict issued by the king of Bhutan on June 10th, 1998, is discussed. Topics include the process of political change in Bhutan, the content of the current reform, structure and designation of the cabinet, devolution of executive powers to the cabinet, the process of vote of confidence in the king, the effect of the reform and future directions.

Chinese perceptions of American power, 1991-2004
Article Abstract:
Chinese perceptions of American power and capability in terms of economic, scientific and technological, military and soft power, together with its perceived trajectory is presented. It is suggested that in the foreseeable future, barring serious mistakes on its own part, the US would remain the dominant power in world politics.
