Article Abstract:
The news concerning the approach of Hurricane Katrina had Lynn in Petal glued to the weather channel and she had a month's supply of water and groceries stocked up. Katrina sky
Article Abstract:
The storm went on all day and by night the winds died down but the neighborhood, an area in Hattiesburg was left with its aftermath, revealing the starlit sky, with the absence of artificial lights. Since the storm, people expressed the same amazement that the neighborhood had changed as everyone now checked on each other and visited face-to-face instead of waving from cars.
