Naughty, naughty Fay!
Article Abstract:
The rhetoric of feminism has gone on for much longer than necessary, according to novelist Fay Weldon. She believes that the purpose of feminism was to achieve equality with men, and that feminism has now gone too far, with women diminishing men just as men used to diminish women. She feels that men now need a men's movement, as they have developed a very poor opinion of themselves and their worth to society. She believes that feminism has not died out completely, although it should have done.

How wonderful of you to come!
Article Abstract:
It is easy to be very hurt by negative criticism, according to novelist Jilly Cooper. She still has very little confidence in her abilities as a writer, even though her novels are extremely popular. She feels that she was a disappointment to her parents, and also that she failed because she was unable to have children of her own. She is genuinely caring about her readers, and finds it hard to believe that they actually want to meet her.
