The 7.8-billion dollar Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan, envisaged by the Florida State, is aimed at improving water quality and quantity in southern Florida. The project spans over a 10-year period and encompasses six storm-water treatment areas extending over 41,658 acres of constructed wetlands.
