Alcohol in American history

Article Abstract:

Alcohol consumption in the US reached its peak around 1980 but has since fallen by 15% because of the rising concerns on drunk driving and the serious effects of alcohol to health. Various movements which fought for the prohibition of alcohol were the major force behind the tempering of alcohol consumption.

Hostile environments created by suburbs has led to the disappearance of many birds. An increased number of predators and pollution contribute to the declining numbers of migratory birds.
