Jim Brady speaks out on handgun violence

Former White House Press Secretary James Brady spoke out in support of gun control after receiving an award from the American Society for Health Care Marketing and Public Relations on Sept 14, 1992. Brady, along with his wife Sarah, is the author of the Brady Bill, a gun control measure which is stalled in Congress. Brady suggested that physicians and hospital administrators use forums such as the Rotary Club to start up local programs about firearms.
