Analytical limbo: how low can you go?

Article Abstract:

The development of new analytical methodologies in gas chromatography (GC) is discussed. These methodologies aim to achieve enhanced sensitivity and specificity in GC. Approaches such as improved sampling strategies, sample introduction methods, improved chromatographic performance, and alternative detection transducers, are used to attain greater sensitivity and lower limit of detection.
