Annulenylenes, annulynes, and annulenes
Article Abstract:
Study is presented to demonstrate the fact that the reaction products, thermodynamics, and kinetic stabilities of the annulenylenes, annulynes, and their parent annulenes are found to be extremely dependent upon the number of [pi] electrons and number of neutrons that could perturb the conjugation.

Photoreceptor proteins, " star actors of modern times": a review of the functional dynamics in the structure of representative members of six different photoreceptor families
Article Abstract:
The six well-characterized photoreceptor families function to mediate light-induced signal transduction are described. The mechanism of reactions that photoreceptor proteins carry out from chromophore configuration changes due to light-induced stimuli to biological response are explained.
