The Buzz of General Relativity

Article Abstract:

NASA's Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer is providing the first measurements of the motion of matter in curved space-times. These measure the gross deviations from Newtonian mechanics, as predicted by Einstein's theory of general relativity.

Citizen's right to sue under fire in courts

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency joined a lawsuit filed by a group of concerned citizens against Laidlaw Environmental Services for storing more than 100 lbs. of hydrofluoric acid.
