BC's backyard nature program
Article Abstract:
Naturescape British Columbia is a program that seeks to educate ordinary Canadians on how to preserve and enhance wildlife habitat in their back yards. The Summer 1995 launching of the program was marked by the publication of a Naturescape kit which comprises of three booklets on wildlife protection in the Georgia Basin area.

A dandy snack
Article Abstract:
Dandelions go beyond decorating purposes. The flower contains a high amount of Vitamin A and can be used as an ingredient in tasty snacks; the stems can be used to link chains to make a crown; and the roots can be boiled to create purple dye.
