Beach town cleanup

This article illustrates remediation of the Avila Beach, California consequent upon contamination of the beach and the soil with the petroleum products released from the pipelines operated by the Union Oil Company. The cleanup includes demolition of beachfront buildings, removal of the contaminated soil, and reconstruction of the town's infrastructure.
