The design of Petronas Twin Towers in Malaysia was inspired by cultural influences and Islamic traditions. Designers carefully evaluated various plans, including one proposed by Prime Minister Mahathir, before a particular lay out was adopted.

Bridging the sky
Article Abstract:
Designers of the Petronas Twin Towers encountered difficulties in installing a skybridge that will connect the building's two sky lobby levels. Lifting the middle section of the skybridge alone was accomplished in a span of three days.
