Researchers are attempting to make methane behave in a more reactive manner. Success could mean that methane will become another source of chemical feedstock and fuel if catalytic converter technology can boost reactivity.

American family tree gets new root

Archaeologist Michael Kunz has discovered the oldest human camping site in Alaska in a mesa in the North Slope. The site is 9,700 to 11,700 years old, and the discovery verifies a Paleoindian culture in Alaska.
