Cleanup complete at Love Canal

Article Abstract:

The 350-acre, Love Canal site, located in Niagara Falls, New York, ha s been removed from the National Priorities List, a compilation of major sites contaminated with hazardous waste that is maintained by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The cleanup activity at the site was achieved at a cost of $250 million and had commenced in the 1970s.
