Copyright: evolution, not revolution
Article Abstract:
The WIPO met in Dec 1996 to update international copyright norms set by the 1886 Berne Convention. Articles of the WIPO Copyright Treaty dealing with rights to temporary reproductions inside computer memories and communication rights and the WIPO draft treaty on databases, which was not finalized, are discussed.
