Egg-shaped digesters will be world's largest
Article Abstract:
The Blue Plains Wastewater Treatment Plant in Washington D.C. is installing eight new egg shaped digesters for its sludge treatment plant. These new digesters can process 17 million liters of sludge per day. The specifications and working of these digesters are presented.
