Evaporation rates and vapor pressures of individual aerosol species formed in the atmospheric oxidation of alpha- and beta-pinene
Article Abstract:
Pinic acid, norpinic acid, glutaric acid, and pinonic acid are tested for evaporation rates using the tandem differential mobility analysis (TDMA) technique in a laminar flow reactor. Vapor pressures and mixing ratios at temperatures of 290 to 323 K are graphed for each carboxylic acid.

Organic aerosol formation during the atmospheric degradation of toluene
Article Abstract:
In three laboratories, the aerosol formation during the atmospheric oxidation of toluene was measured using scanning mobility particle sizers and toluene loss was monitored. Aerosol is formed in the absence and presence of ozone.
