Sorption of phenol, p-nitophenol, and anilene to dual-cation organobentonites from water

Article Abstract:

The study focusses on the synthesis of a series of dual-cation organobentonites. They are synthesized by replacing the metal ions in bentonite with both long-chain alkyl quaternary ammonium cations, and short-chain alkyl quaternary ammonium cations.
