In the know

Article Abstract:

Effectively managing a company's expertise can be hugely beneficial but implementing the process can be difficult. Knowledge management improves communication within companies so that expertise is used more effectively, reducing duplicated tasks and expensive design, commissioning and maintenance errors. To this end, Japanese automation supplier Omron's UK arm is installing a 1.5 million pounds sterling electronic database containing information on its entire product range in order to maximise accessability of information throughout the company.

Article Abstract:

The treaties such as START call for destruction of nuclear missiles but they do not have any provision for verifying the dismantlement of the nuclear war heads. The nuclear powers should allow each other to confirm the progress of dismantlement in their countries but the program should not be of an interfering nature.

Biological Weapons Control

Article Abstract:

There has been a good deal of debate over whether inspection is the best way to control the production of biological weapons.
