Subway work moving quickly in India's capital
Article Abstract:
This article discusses the construction of the first 62 kilometer subway in Delhi, India. The subway serves Old Delhi and New Delhi. The construction involves working through the challenging geotechnical conditions in Delhi containing alluvium soil overlying the bedrocks.
