Intraparticle diffusion during selective sorption of trace contaminants: the effect of gel versus macroporous morphology

Article Abstract:

This study was used to examine the effect of gel and macroporous morphologies during selective sorption of trace contaminants. The study is broken down into an introduction, a discussion of the experiment and its results. Various graphs and tables accompany the article.

A fluorescence spectroscopic study of phenanthrene sorption on porous silica

Article Abstract:

Phenanthrene sorbtion and desorbtion in porous silica is measured with fluorescence spectroscopy to evaluate the difference in sorbtion/desorbtion rates in mesoporous and microporous silica. Graphs show the absorption spectra of phenanthrene and the distribution levels in the silica.
