Mechanism of pyrene photochemical oxidation in aqueous and surfactant solutions
Article Abstract:
Researchers from the Oak Ridge Laboratory and the University of Tennessee showed that pyrene and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon photolysis in aqueous and micellar solutions will produce pyrenequinones through electron transfer.
