Article Abstract:

Norwegian Cruise Lines has opted to lengthen and improve its Windward cruise ship by incorporating a 130-ft 5,000-ton section. The resulting ship is 725 ft long and can accommodate 500 more passengers. The entire project cost $69 million, which is equivalent to one-third the cost of buying a new ship.

New technology is enabling breast cancers to be detected earlier, giving women a better chance of surviving the disease. Issues concerning digital mammography, computer-assisted analysis of mammography films, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and current research in diagnostic methods are presented.
