The project aims to conduct the first comprehensive study of sandhill cranes in Cuba to promote their conservation. Dr. Felipe Chavez-Ramirez, Xiomara Galvez and his project team will count, trap, and brand cranes, and monitor their movements on historic 'Isle of Youth'
