Korean war armistice agreement 1953
Article Abstract:
On July 27, 1953, representatives of UN forces and the North Korean army signed eighteen official copies of the tri-language Korean Armistice Agreement, the longest negotiated armistice in history. While it stopped hostilities, it was not a permanent peace treaty between nations, but only a military document and no nation was a signatory to the agreement.
