One disaster after another: the father of the idea that a sibling of the sun periodically wreaks havoc on Earth finds inspiration in catastrophe
Article Abstract:
Richard Muller began theorizing about a companion star for Earth's sun, responsible for catastrophic evolutionary events on Earth, in 1982. He postulates that this companion star, which he calls Nemesis, follows an elliptical orbit which brings it within 18 trillion miles of Earth ever 26 million years. Muller also believes that brief, cataclysmic events are as responsible for evolution as slow, steady progression.

Dissent in the Maelstrom
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the reasons for global warming are discussed, with focus on the opinions of meteorologist Richard S. Lindzen that global warming is not caused by human activities. Particular attention is given to ways in which Lindzen challenges existing scientific research.

Spring forward
Article Abstract:
Many species are at risk because of the changing ecosystem due to the surface warming of the planet. This continues for a long time, and will change the present ecosystem to a new one.
