Pen systems, that use pens in lieu of keyboards, are becoming more sophisticated and include more features such as a liquid-crystal-display screen from which jotted notes or drawings can be saved. New pen system products are discussed.

A British inventor has developed an add-on device which would allow aan ordinary VCR to record on the same tape two different programs being broadcast simultaneously. A brief overview of the device and how it works is presented.
