Article Abstract:
The total value of chemical industry products with automotive applications has been estimated at DM 1500 and DM 2000 (GBP650-875). This amount is projected to increase in the future. Bayer AG has taken cognizance of this trend, indicated by its GBP2 billion sale of products to the global automotive industry in 1995. The chemicals giant has reorganized operations to pursue its market advantages with a liaison group to handle such chemical product application.
