RNA, Whither Goest Thou?

Article Abstract:

Research into nerve cells and the ability of synaptic connections to be independently manipulated suggests that some type of memory is involved. Two theories attempt to explain how memory functions work in nerve cells are explained. The first theory states that synapses can recruit proteins for synaptic modulation while the second theory states that memory is controlled by the delivery of RNAs to postsynaptic dendritic sites.
