Rulers of the Jurassic seas

Article Abstract:

Ichthyosaurs lived during the Jurassic period and were known for the terror they caused in the oceans. Paleontologists have discovered that the so-called fish-lizards evolved from land-dwelling animals and had the largest eyes of any animal that has ever existed.

On the level: central Asia's inland seas curiously rise and fall

Article Abstract:

Water levels in central Asia are becoming erratic, with the Aral Sea dropping by 15 meters within 20 years and the Caspian Sea swelling by two meters. Researchers posit that water from the Aral Sea may be flowing underground into the Caspian Sea.
