Article Abstract:
A group of researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has developed an atom interferometer with practical applications. The device will be useful in studying chemical reaction dynamics, in geophysics and in navigation.

Putting game theory to the test
Article Abstract:
Animal behavior researchers are using game theory to develop and test models of animal aggression, cooperation, rivalry and other behaviors. Game theory gives the researchers a tool to quantitatively test their theories.
