Slurry walls pull double duty on Denver underpass
Article Abstract:
A slurry wall system controls the ground water forthe 15th Street underpass in Denver, CO, and is a foundation for a new overheadrailroad bridge. The underpass replaced a 2,400 ft steel roadway bridge that carried traffic from a railroad freight yard. Slurry walls were used to dewaterthe site because the ground water would be 6 ft above the road surface of the underpass when finished. Slurry walls were built by digging a narrow trench andstabilizing it with thin-bentonite slurry. The slurry walls cut off the ground water and allowed dewatering with the least amount of pumping involved.

Article Abstract:
Understanding the performance of components like processors is very important for delivering industrial PCs suitable for machine vision applications, as PCs are the driving force behind computer and machine vision. The maximum performance can be gained by the latest CPUs if the vision application is multi-threaded and is developed with latest tools.
