Stainless steel spire crowns Irish cathedral

Belfast Cathedral features a 72 m high stainless steel spire that adds a vertical element to the cathedral that draws the eyes toward the heavens. The spire penetrates the cathedral's roof and gives the appearance that the spires float overhead.
