Flywheels in hybrid vehicles: a rapidly spinning flywheel combines with a gas-turbine engine to power a novel hybrid electric vehicle
Article Abstract:
Rosen Motors' design of a hybrid electric vehicle uses the innovative concept of the flywheel to help in power generation and storage. The flywheel generates power not only while the vehicle is in motion, but also uses it in a regenerative manner during braking.
